My friends and I have a theory - what if Jay and Adnan were hooking up and Hae caught them? Would the fear of her potentially telling his parents or friends be enough for Adnan to strangle her?
I thought they were only acquaintances but they spent the whole afternoon together and night, had each other's car / phone and might have been in the park too ... ?
I don't know why their sexuality hasn't come into this at all. it makes so much sense to me - so much more than any other theory and explains exactly why Jay and Adnan were together
